Tinkling its thousands of anklets

Tinkling its thousands of anklets,
She, the river flowed ………
The banks and waves
Forget themselves in lovely embraces………

Tinkling its thousands of anklets,
she, the river flowed ………
Whether it is pain of parting?
Or it is symbol of rapture.
That blossomed through
the small bubbles on the river

Oh my beloved!
Just smile once more.
Tinkling its thousands of anklets, she, the river flowed ………

The cool breeze and the moonlight.
Made my thought filled with you
Oh my beloved!
Just smile once more.
Tinkling its thousands of anklets, she, the river flowed ………

A dream on thali

High above the golden lit sky,
The canoe slides along,
Sailing in a world of its own,
Set to glide by the whims of a soul,
The soul that belongs to the beloved of mademoiselle,
The enchantress who art enthralls the earth

Underneath the golden hued mast,
Watched by the divinity of the sanctum sanctorum
Or by the sides of the ever so elegant Pamba
When the first fair hair of the sun touches the ground
The celestial knot will be tied.

Whilst each scatters after money,
I shalt maketh a precious little ring,
Thou that adorns the most beautiful nose
Whilst each would raiseth their ladies unto a palanquin,
I shalt raise mine necklace unto mine canoe,
Shying away as each ripple rocks gently mine canoe
And tomorrow shalt witness a transformation
Mine necklace unto a wedding chain.

Thaali: A type of a wedding necklace worn by Malayalee women.
pamba; famous river in kerala.
